Patrick Devaney

Actor | Writer | Director | Producer

Since early days using his Mom’s manual typewriter, Patrick has been constantly writing some sort of narrative in various forms of media.  From scripts and concepts based on comic books and graphic novels in the 80’s, to complete universes for interactive roleplaying games in the 90’s,  screenwriting was always going to be the logical next step.

He has written or co-written every episode of “Zombie Hunters: City of the Dead” and “Mastic PD” (with Christopher Murphy and Lauren Loizidis, respectively),  a total of 34 scripts, of which 22 have been fully produced or are in the final stages of being filmed.

His stories run the gamut; from modern horror, to lighthearted supernatural thrillers, to wildly outlandish sci-fi and science fantasy. And although mostly known for short films and episodic content, he has also written many feature-length screenplays, one of which is being accepted into festivals since March of 2017.

Taking a cue from the great Stephen King, Patrick tries to write every day, even if it amounts to little more than lists of the things to be written at future dates. Getting this concept out to people, to encourage them to also write their stories every day, is a goal that he pushes for constantly.
